Ivans Back Won Impressively At Market Rasen In The Racing FX Online Handicap Chase
We were delighted to be back at the picturesque, Market Rasen Racecourse yesterday, where Racing FX were the proud sponsors of five of the day's seven races.
The opening race of the meeting, The Racing FX Juvenile Hurdle, was won by Wolfcatcher, who was ridden by Aidan Coleman and is trained by John Ferguson. The next race of the day was The Racing FX Novice's Hurdle, which only had three runners, after Bold Prince Rupert ended up as a Non-Runner. It was great to see Barry Geraghty at the track, who was on board Matorico, but was unable to beat the brilliant Duke Des Champs, ridden by Richard Johnson. Johnson was also on board Vodka Island further down the card.
Ivans Back flew over each fence in The Racing FX Online Handicap Chase, in his win at 1.45pm. The horse's owner, Victoria Cottingham, was almost lost for words at how terrifically the horse performed and it is safe to say that this is one to look out for throughout the rest of the National Hunt season.
In the Racing FX Online Handicap Hurdle, we were delighted to see Stephen McCarthy get his first professional win, where he rode Optical High to victory for Sue Smith. Yesterdays racing finished with The Racing FX Conditional Jokey's Handicap Hurdle, where Jamie Hamilton won on Renoyr.
We'd like to thank all of our guests for attending and we hope all of the Racing FX competition winners had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Racing FX will be at Huntingdon on Boxing Day, and you can win tickets to the event by signing up to our newsletter here: www.racingfx.co.uk/win-tickets-to-the-races.
